This statement is made on behalf of K3DP in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Our Business
K3DP is a UK-based 3D printing and additive manufacturing service provider. We specialise in the production and optimisation of plastic components using FDM technology, primarily supporting UK manufacturers with low-volume and repeat production. Our operations are based in the United Kingdom, and while we supply customers internationally, our manufacturing activities are carried out in the UK.
Our Workforce
All K3DP employees are employed under UK contracts and are paid in line with, or above, statutory requirements including the National Minimum Wage. Where we engage freelancers or contractors, they are engaged on a professional basis and invoice us for services under agreed commercial terms. We do not use agency labour or zero-hours arrangements.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain includes UK and international suppliers of:
3D printing materials and consumables
Equipment and spare parts
Software and IT services
Logistics and courier services
We recognise that risks related to modern slavery can exist in global supply chains, particularly in manufacturing and logistics. While we do not currently carry out formal supplier audits, we expect our suppliers and partners to comply with applicable labour laws and to operate ethically and responsibly. Where concerns are identified, we reserve the right to investigate, request further assurances, or terminate the relationship.
Risk Assessment and Due Diligence
The risk of modern slavery within our own operations is considered low due to:
Our UK-based workforce
Direct employment model
Small and transparent organisational structure
We remain aware of potential risks further down the supply chain and encourage staff and partners to raise concerns. Any concerns relating to unethical practices or labour exploitation can be reported confidentially and will be taken seriously.
Ongoing Commitment
K3DP is committed to:
Acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships
Maintaining transparency in our operations and supply chains
Reviewing this statement annually and improving our approach as the business grows
This statement will be reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
