These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which K3DP (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides 3D printing and related manufacturing services to you (“you”, “your”).
Please read them carefully before placing an order.

2. What These Terms Cover
2.1 These Terms apply to all quotes, orders, and services provided by K3DP, including the manufacture and supply of 3D printed parts (“Parts”).
2.2 These Terms, together with:
our written quote,
your purchase order (if accepted by us), and
any documents expressly referred to,
form the entire agreement between us.
2.3 If there is any conflict between these Terms and your purchase order or other documents, these Terms take precedence unless expressly agreed in writing by K3DP.
3. Business Customers
3.1 Our services are primarily provided on a business-to-business basis.
3.2 If you place an order on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
4. Quotes & Orders
4.1 Quotes are based on:
the CAD files or drawings you supply,
the material, finish, colour, quantity and lead time requested,
and any assumptions stated in the quote.
4.2 Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
4.3 An order becomes binding once:
you confirm acceptance of a quote in writing, or
we accept your purchase order in writing.
4.4 Any changes to an order after acceptance (including file revisions or specification changes) must be agreed in writing and may affect price and lead time.
5. Customer-Supplied Files & Specifications
5.1 You are responsible for ensuring that all CAD files, drawings and specifications you provide are:
correct,
complete,
suitable for manufacture.
5.2 We manufacture Parts exactly to the files and specifications supplied. We do not verify design intent or functional suitability unless expressly agreed in writing.
5.3 You confirm that:
you own or have permission to use all supplied designs; and
manufacture of the Parts does not infringe third-party rights.
5.4 We are not responsible for errors, failures or non-performance resulting from:
design flaws,
unsuitable tolerances,
incorrect material selection,
or inappropriate use of Parts.
6. Manufacturing Process & Tolerances
6.1 Parts are produced using FDM 3D printing technology unless otherwise stated.
6.2 You acknowledge that:
minor cosmetic variation is inherent to FDM processes;
layer lines, surface variation and colour variation are normal;
dimensional tolerances are process-dependent.
6.3 Parts are deemed acceptable if they fall within reasonable industry tolerances for FDM manufacturing unless tighter tolerances are expressly agreed in writing.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All intellectual property rights in customer-supplied designs remain with you.
7.2 You grant K3DP a limited, non-exclusive licence to use your files solely for:
quoting,
manufacturing your Parts,
quality control and internal process improvement.
7.3 All intellectual property in:
our processes,
tooling,
documentation,
website content,
remains the property of K3DP.
7.4 We will not share or publish your designs without your prior written consent.
8. Confidentiality
8.1 Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public technical, commercial or business information received in connection with an order.
8.2 Confidential information will only be used to fulfil obligations under these Terms.
8.3 This obligation survives termination of the agreement.
9. Price & Payment
9.1 Prices are stated inclusive of VAT.
9.2 Payment terms are:
Upfront payment unless a credit account is agreed in writing; or
30 days from invoice for approved trade account customers.
9.3 Late payments may attract interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
9.4 We reserve the right to suspend work or withhold delivery for overdue accounts.
10. Delivery & Risk
10.1 Delivery dates are estimates only unless expressly agreed as fixed.
10.2 Risk in the Parts passes to you upon delivery.
10.3 Title to the Parts remains with K3DP until payment is received in full.
10.4 We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or events beyond our reasonable control.
11. Cancellations & Returns
11.1 Orders for Parts are custom-manufactured and cannot be cancelled once production has started.
11.2 If cancellation occurs before manufacture begins, a refund may be issued at our discretion.
11.3 Returns are only accepted where Parts:
materially fail to meet the agreed specification, and
we are notified in writing within 5 working days of delivery.
12. Liability
12.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:
death or personal injury caused by negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
liability which cannot legally be excluded.
12.2 Subject to clause 12.1, our total liability is limited to the value of the affected order.
12.3 We are not liable for:
indirect or consequential losses;
loss of profit, business or opportunity;
failure caused by customer-supplied designs or specifications.
12.4 You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from:
infringement of third-party intellectual property;
misuse or unsafe application of Parts.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier failure, transport disruption, power outages, or government restrictions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time your order is accepted will apply.
